about

During the early stages of the pandemic, J. Bruce Tracey of Cornell University hosted a symposium to examine the disruptive impact of the pandemic on the music industry. The event featured a series of panel and roundtable discussions among a group of invited musicians, academics, and music and hospitality industry professionals. Participants included Markus Reuter and Bernhard Wöstheinrich, who shared their experiences as the world shut down.

The music from this album was performed live at an online streaming as the closing event of this symposium on music, entrepreneurship and hospitality.

about

centrozoon Berlin, Germany

Centrozoon is not just questioning the process of making music, but the very borders of music itself.
Creating sound, to centrozoon, is an exploration of possibilities and extremes, a constant conscious confusion of contexts and evaluating the validity of what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’.

centrozoon currently consists of Markus Reuter, Bernhard Wöstheinrich and Tobias Reber.
